Sadie Mae (Melton) Reece

Sadie Mae Melton Reece, 98, of Kinston passed away on Wednesday, September 8, 2021 at her home. She was a devoted Christian and a true Woman of the Lord.

She is preceded in death by her husband, William Wilson Reece; daughters, Louis Wiggs and Lavella Swinson; son, William “Pete” Reece.

Left to cherish her memory is her daughters, Lavern Csokasy and husband George and Nancy Paulette Stanley; sons, Kenneth Reece, Edward “Dick” Reece and wife Shelby, Timothy Reece and wife Sheila; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren and great great great grandchildern; brother, Donald Melton and wife Gloria.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday, September 13, 2021 at Garner Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, September 14, 2021 at Garner Funeral Home with Pastor Chris Dunn officiating.
