Shelby Jean (Jenkins) Lee

Shelby Jenkins Lee, 89, of Trenton passed away on Monday, May 19, 2025 at SECU Crystal Coast Hospice House in Newport, NC.

For many years Shelby was the secretary at Trenton Elementary School. She was a long time member of Cypress Creek Methodist Church. Shelby loved spending time with her family and especially her great granddaughter, Meredith, who was the apple of her eye. She loved flowers and spending time working in her yard. Shelby will be deeply missed by many that loved her.

She is preceded in death by her son, Larry Gerald Lee, Jr.; husband, Larry Gerald Lee, Sr.; and parents, William Clem Jenkins, Jr. and Emaline Philyaw Jenkins.

Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Donna Lee Paschal and husband Randy of Trenton; grandchildren, Rebecca Paschal Sanderson and husband Chris of Kinston and Doug Gerald Paschal of Trenton; great granddaughter, Meredith Lee Sanderson.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, May 24, 2025, at Pinelawn Memorial Park with Pastor Patricia Patton officiating.
