Steven "Steve" Lee Minnich

Steven “Steve” Lee Minnich, 72, of Kinston passed away on Tuesday, October 22, 2024 at Greendale Forest Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Snow Hill.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Cheryl Minnich; sister, Kathie Laird; parents, Harry and Helen Minnich.

Left to cherish his memory is his son, Dustin Minnich and his wife Elizabeth and sister, Tamara Strouth.

Steve was a resilient hard worker and a selfless provider. In his career and in life, he was a leader that others admired and sought advice from. He worked tirelessly towards the right solution no matter how difficult and stood up for what he believed in. He was intelligent and witty and a dedicated and loving husband and father.

He adored his dog, routinely donated blood to the Red Cross, and volunteered his time at UNC hospital.
