Stuart is preceded in death by his mother, Mary Alice Taylor Laws and father, Robert Lee Laws Sr; brother Robert Lee Laws Jr.

Left to cherish his memory is his nephew, Jeff Laws and wife, Dana; niece, Amanda Laws Price, husband Tommy. Great nieces and nephews, Alexis, Anna Kate, Zachary, Ethan, Evan.
