Sue McCoy

Wanda "Sue" McCoy, 71, of Kinston passed away on Tuesday, July 20, 2021 at Vidant Medical Center Palliative Care.

Sue is preceded in death by her father, Larry T. McCoy, Sr.; mother, Ruby Powell McCoy; brothers, Larry “Tom” T. McCoy Jr., and K. Byron McCoy.

Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Stacy Morris; son, Sherman Thompson and wife Brandie; grandchildren, Joshua and wife Jessica, Preston and wife Harriet, Austin and Levi; great grandchildren, Sarah, Kanyon and Stella Rey; sister, Phyllis M. Taylor; sister-in-law, Lila McCoy; brother, Michael “Miles” McCoy and wife Dorrie and special friend, Pam Milnes.

The family is receiving friends at her home, 406 Perry Street, Kinston, North Carolina 28501. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, July 24, 2021 at 6:00 p.m. with visitation to follow at Albritton P.H. Church, 668 Tully Hill Road, Kinston, North Carolina 28504 with Rev.
