William “Willie” Lannie Peyton, 48, of Kinston passed away on Saturday, August 5, 2023 at his home.

He is preceded in death by his father, David Earl Peyton, Sr.

Willie is survived by his mother, Brenda Merritt; sisters, Thelma Renee Teachey and Essie Marie Peyton; brother, David Earl Peyton, Jr.

Funeral services will be held at a later date.
